You probably won’t believe this, but we discovered freelancing when we were just two broke Psychology majors struggling to find money to pay for our tuition. Between our exams and assignments, we wrote blogs, designed social media posts, and managed people’s schedules as virtual assistants. The original plan was to get our degrees and pursue “secure” jobs like “responsible adults” do, but as time passed, we realized that there was more to this whole freelancing thing. Freelancing wasn’t just a bunch of small jobs to help us survive college anymore—it was beyond that. Thus, the “virtual assistant” side hustle” became a way of life for us.

We enjoyed what we were doing, so when we graduated and had a bit more time on our hands, we decided to continue working as virtual assistants. It’s been about 8 years, and we’ve had the pleasure of working on several projects all over the globe. It’s been quite the journey and we’re still growing with every new client we acquire and every new project we complete.  We’re here because we love what we do, but also because we understood the importance of quality of life—otherwise known as “the assignment”. 

We chose to freelance because we value life and wanted more time to appreciate it.
